How can you tell Natalie needs some time away from the computer? When she types up a cover letter and it looks like this:
p. Dear Joe: p. Thank you _so_ much for taking the time to review my resume and forward to the appropriate person. Bob has been really generous to pave the way for me and I appreciate the help from you*both*. I've been perusing the information I've found on "your company](http://yourwebsite.com and I'm excited about the opportunity to be of service to you. Although I prefer a position in web or graphic design, I also have a talent for serving "coffee](http://coffee.com and answering phones; if there's a need, I can fill it! p. I've enclosed a copy of my resume as well as: * A small sample of my portfolio, including stock photography * A sample magazine advertisement from a pro bono job I did for a Media company in California * My business card, in case the opportunity for employment is not open, I welcome freelance work p. I'll call you in a few days to be sure you received the package and get your thoughts. _Of course_, if you have questions, please call me. p. Sincerely, Natalie Jost
