I have to apologize. I started cleaning up some things last night as I do about monthly and while looking through my folders to find a place to put the things I wasn’t going to use anymore, I came upon an old design I started this summer just after the spring reboot. It wasn’t great, which is why it never made it up, but as I stared at it this morning, I realized a cool blue was just what it needed, and being Winter, it makes sense.
So I’m working on getting things to work with this new look, but I didn’t plan for a redesign, so it will be tricky trying to do that just before our vacation next week. Bear with me as I tweak in my free moments, what little I have.
The color scheme is available in the sidebar over yonder –> and I based it on this photo I love so much. It’s an accidental overexposure of some trees I shot last winter.

those are LOVELY trees. They alone make me excited about the new look :) I’m also like the ‘chapters’ part of the sidebar and just your typography in general over there.

I liked the old design a lot, but this is a nice minimal change. I think it fits winter quite well and helps to reduce the increased clutter that I associate with christmas. You’re very talented.
